eThekwini Municipality has come out clear to deny and slam rumours it will support Cassper Nyovest with R58 million towards the success of his #FillUpMosesMabhida stadium concert.
A Twitter account with the username @sayentrepreneur had made claims the municipality was preparing to fund the project with such a huge amount of tax payers money when there were many impressive youth initiatives it wouldn’t touch.
However, the eThekwini Municipality took to its Twitter page with a strong rebuke of such claims; insisting it has not signed any contract or made any agreement with Mufasa.
The Family Tree Boss himself responded to the allegations wondering why lies spread faster than the truth. However, he believes it is a smear campaign and he knows its perpatrator.
“Why do lies spread faster than the truth? “It’s a smear campaign and I know exactly who it is.” he Tweeted.
Several Cassper Nyovest fans have taken to Twitter to show support to their icon with some even asking that he instigates a lawsuit against the detractors.
