Multi-award winning rapper and Music ace “Chef 187” says Kwacha Music Award organizers are using the show for their selfish gain. The rapper who has opposed and boycotted this year’a “Kwacha Music awards Edition” responded to a fan’s question on Twitter who wondered why the Kopala Rapper was portrayed as a nominee despite withdrawing from the awards.
Bakamba @Chefy187 how come you were portrayed as a nominee at the #kwachaMusicAwards? Thought you withdrew
— Daniel Lengwe (@DanielLengwe) September 29, 2018
In his response, the “Numero Uno” blasted the show organizers. Chef 187 first acknowledged the question would have been best answered by award organizers but nonetheless couldn’t help but share his own personal opinion. He further added the organizers were misleading people into voting for an artiste who has withdrawn.
The organisers of the award show are best suited to respond to that question. But if am to be honest about it i think their failure to take down my name is just them tryn to satisfy their selfish needs. Why mislead pipo into voting 4 an artist whos withdrawn?

HipHop artiste “Macky 2” yesterday evening walked away with the Biggest award of the night at “Kwacha Music awards 2018“. The Kopala Swag frontliner won “Album Of The Year” for his recent body of work “Ghetto President“.
Macky 2 was in the same category with other music giants such as Pompi, T-Sean & TBwoy, Petersen and Roberto. Despite the album being recently released, Ghetto President managed to get nominated a few weeks after its release. This actually made “Jay Rox” question the genuineness of the “Kwacha Music Awards“.
However, a little controversy couldn’t stop Mulaza Kaira from carrying the Biggest award of the night home. Congrats King Bugar!
